ALBAWABA- An explosion occurred at Turkey’s largest oil refinery, Tüpraş, located in Kocaeli, during a routine training exercise.
The blast resulted in minor injuries for 12 employees and shattered windows in the vicinity. Thanks to the rapid response of emergency teams, the situation was swiftly brought under control.
According to reports from NTV, smoke was seen rising from the refinery, signaling the intensity of the blast.
Established as Turkey’s leading oil refinery, Tüpraş processes millions of barrels annually and plays a vital role in the country’s energy infrastructure.
