The attacks came just hours before an anticipated ceasefire announcement brokered by the United States and France.

US President Joe Biden is expected to formally announce the ceasefire agreement at 10:00 PM, with its implementation scheduled for early Wednesday morning between 4:00 and 6:00 AM. The agreement aligns with several key UN resolutions, including Resolutions 1701, 1559, 1780, and 425.

Meanwhile, Lebanon faced continued Israeli airstrikes, with the Lebanese Ministry of Health reporting three deaths and 26 injuries in a raid on Al-Nuwairi, Beirut.

The strikes, among the most intense since the Israeli aggression began, targeted areas from Ghobeiry to Hadath and Haret Hreik in Beirut's southern suburbs.

In addition, Israeli air raids hit facilities on the outskirts of Ansar and Shamshtar in the Bekaa region. One targeted building in Al-Nuwairi was reportedly used for preparing food for displaced families.
