An Israeli border police officer was injured late Sunday by an "improvised explosive device" in the East Jerusalem neighborhood of al-Issawiya, Israeli public radio said.
The incident took place during an arrest raid, with the officer reportedly suffering injuries to his leg.
Israeli media often refers to Molotov cocktails, frequently thrown at Israeli military forces, as improvised explosives.
