Absent from the music world since year 2000, Farid Ferragui comes back with a tour that he will start on March 30 in Tizi Ouzou in the Mouloud-Mammeri Culture House. Liberte Algeria reports that Ferragui will continue his tour with Béjaïa (on April 14 and 15), Bordj Bou-Arréridj (on April 28), Algiers (on May 12 and 13), Oran, Bouira and Ouargla (on May 26).
Questioned about his long absence, “It was not an escape. It was something that was imposed. There are moments in life that you need to be silent. In 2001 there was terrorism and blood in Kabylie and I had to cancel everything,” said Ferragui adding that his new album and CD will appear in the near future.
