Despite the huge number of Moroccan supporters at the Parkstad Limburg Stadium, Morocco was crashed (0:3) by Nigeria Tuesday night in the semi final game of FIFA World Youth Championship Netherlands 2005. The North Africans had no answer for Nigeria's smashing goals from Taye Taiwo, Olubayo Adefemi and Chinedu Ogbuke. According to Fifa.com, it was a nightmare for the Moroccans, who were reduced to nine men after two red cards in an impetuous last ten minutes.
Morocco boss Jamal Fathi concede the defeat, saying "We can play better than we did today, but the pressure from the fans, the media and everyone back home was just too much for such young players."
