The artist-painter Rim Laabi (Phd. in plastic arts and art sciences) has organized Wednesday evening a conference titled "From Feminine Art to Feminine in Art". The conference took place in the Actua hall of Attijariwafa bank.
As a woman, and an artist-painter, Laabi explained to <i>Aujourd'hui</i>, that she does not think that there is a difference between masculine art and feminine art, since it is not the gender of the artist that predominate his/her art.
The conference was not aimed at comparing or stressing differences but examining feminize art as a whole, which, as Laabi explains, does not necessarily exclude men. It is a world of men and women and men too necessarily take part in the creation of feminine art.
