First “Next Move” real estate investment exhibition to be held in Cairo from April 16
AED 36.7 billion worth of residential and commercial projects to be featured
The inaugural edition of the Next Move real estate investment exhibition will be held from April 16 to 19, 2008, at the Cairo International Conference Centre in Cairo, Egypt. The event, touted as the largest real estate exhibition and forum in Egypt, will welcome more than 40 exhibitors and 25,000 visitors to 16,000 sqm of exhibition space to explore various residential and commercial projects worth AED 36.7 billion.
Organised by ACG-ITF Co., the largest exhibition organizer in Egypt and the leading trade events organizer in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region, the event will be attended by major developers such as Talaat Mostafa Group; Damac Properties; Al Ahli Group; Qatari Diar; Emaar Egypt; Oriental Development Group; and Al Jawhara. Prominent real estate financing companies including Arab Egyptian Real Estate Bank, Amlak Real Estate and Financing Co., and Commercial International Bank will also gather at the exhibition.
Ahmed Ghozzi, Chairman, ACG-ITF, said: “Next Move offers a relaxed yet vibrant platform for buyers, developers, and financiers to interact and discuss the latest and best options for real estate acquisitions. Financing companies will be offering various special offers and financing solutions during this landmark event, particularly for projects in the booming Egyptian real estate market. Participants will be able to have a comprehensive overview at the lucrative projects presented at the highly attractive exhibition spaces prepared by the biggest names in the region’s property industry.”
Egypt’s real estate market is rapidly expanding due mainly to aggressive government programs to promote foreign investments in construction and real estate projects. The market’s phenomenal growth reflects the country’s booming economy, which is expected to surpass a 7.1 per cent economic growth achieved in 2007 which relied heavily on tourist revenues. Increased property projects are expected to further improve Egypt’s image as a prime tourist destination in the Middle East.
“Participants will appreciate the clearer view of the Egyptian real estate market presented by Next Move; the significant gains made by the country’s economic and business sectors have positioned it as a prime investment destination. This exhibition is expected to result in the closing of several important property deals and further boost this major local growth industry. It will also enhance competition and quality of real estate products and services throughout the MENA region,” said Yasir Ghazi, CEO, Lead Marketing and Solutions.
Established in 1986, Next Move organizer ACG-ITF currently serves 47 per cent of the international trade fairs market. The specialised industrial exhibition company’s portfolio of exhibitions covers diverse sectors ranging from automobiles, textile machinery and plastics machinery to chemicals, building and construction.
