The first Tunisian women's football championship will be launched next week, it was announced on Thursday in Tunis. According to the chairman of the Tunisian Football Federation, Mr. Hammouda Ben Ammar, competition will begin on December 11th.
According to him, young women players will compete in two divisions comprising respectively 12 and 11 teams. Two national teams will be formed to compete in the African Nations U-19 cup and the 2008 Olympics.
