Iran's Foreign Minister Manucherhr Mottaki has warned Europe on any attempt to refer Iran to the UN Security Council because "The Iranian Parliament has required the government to terminate its voluntary cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency if such measures are taken against the Islamic Republic."

Referring to the recent comments by British Foreign Secretary, Jack Straw who announced that EU-Iran talks have reached dead end, Mottaki was quoted as saying by IRIB on Friday that the European should not create situations which block Iran from any future cooperation with them.

Mottaki rejected the protests stirred by Iran's resumption of nuclear research and said the Iranian people has right to do so under the Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT).

He called for restraint and wise behavoir by the EU3 (France, Britain and Germany), saying such huge propaganda which has been launched against Iran for its research activities is unprecedented and will not recieve the propor support.
