Israeli soldiers on Monday killed four Palestinians during a raid into the West Bank city of Nablus, hours after a resident of a nearby refugee camp blew himself up in a Tel Aviv market, killing three people.

Three Palestinians were killed during a clash with Israeli troops in the evening. Palestinian hospital sources identified the three victims as Fadi PSamer Sardan, 20, Jihad PAmer Apbu Saleha, 25 and Majdi Mari'i. Israeli sources claimed the latter was a senior activist in Fatah's military wing, the Al Aqsa Martyrs Brigades.

Earlier, a 12-year-old boy from the Askar refugee camp near the West Bank city of Nablus was killed by Israeli fire, according to Palestinian sources, but the Israeli Army said it was not operating in Nablus.

Locals said the troops moved into Nablus after the suicide bombing at Carmel Market in Tel Aviv, which was carried out by a resident of Askar camp, and killed Bashar Jabara, 12.

Also in the West Bank, Israeli troops wounded Monday four Palestinians and arrested 11 others, medical sources and locals said.

Medics at Hebron Hospital said that Rafiq Abu Hassan, 36, and Ismael Abu Hussien sustained burns in the limbs and the face when an unidentified object went off. Palestinian security sources confirmed that the object is a stun grenade which Israeli troops left during one of their raids.

In the meantime, a convoy of Israeli tanks and armoured vehicles rolled into al-Fari'a refugee camp, south of the West Bank town of Tubas, wounding two men. According to medical sources, the 18-year-old Hussam Soboh was shot in the waist, while Mohammed Daqa 18, was shot in the chest. (albawaba.com)
