ALBAWABA - The Gaza Ministry of Health confirmed that one foreign UN worker was killed as a result of an Israeli airstrike on the Gaza Strip, media confirmed on Wednesday.
Earlier AFP reported citing the Gaza Ministry of Health reported on Wednesday that six foreign UN workers were 'severely injured' during ongoing Israeli attacks on the enclave.
Israel resumed attacks on the Gaza Strip after announcing the end of the ceasefire agreement, approved in January, the Israeli military said. "Israel will, from now on, act against Hamas with increasing military strength," Netanyahu's office added.
US President Donald Trump gave the green light to Israel to carry out the latest attacks on the Strip after Hamas refused to accept US-backed proposals to extend the truce, US media confirmed.
On the other hand, Jordanian King Abdullah II said on Wednesday the latest Israeli attacks on Gaza 'extremely dangerous step'. French President Emmanual Macron labelled the new attacks as a "dramatic step backwards".
Yesterday, the Gaza Health Ministry announced that at least 412 Palestinians were killed since Tuesday morning in the attacks carried out by the Israeli army. In addition, the ministry added that about 562 others were injured, according to Anadolu Agency.
