Four American soldiers were injured in an explosion in southeastern Afghanistan's Paktika province, the US military said.
The incident took place on Saturday when the vehicle they were travelling in was hit by an improvised explosive device, it said in a statement on Sunday.
The soldiers were taken to the nearby Salerno firebase for treatment for minor wounds.
