French Funds for World Environment allocates 450,000 euros for Tunisia

FFEM (French Funds for World Environment) allocated 727,000 dinars (450,000 euros) for environment projects in Tunisia within the framework of the Mediterranean Strategic Action Program (SAP MED). La Presse reports that SAP MED strives to protect the environment and to foster sustainable development in the Mediterranean basin within the scope of the United Nations Environment Program (UNEP). The 450,000 euros allocated for Tunisia will be used to reduce the land based sources of pollution and improve water quality in the country.
