Workers evacuated the US-owned General Motors car-part plant in Strasbourg, eastern France, after a bomb warning was issued, the factory's manager told AFP.
Narch Schiff said that the 1,000 staff had been asked to leave after an anonymous telephone warning of an "explosion". The police had been called and were investigating, he said.
