ALBAWABA - Over the course of 30 days, the Israeli aggression on Gaza has resulted in the killing of more than 9,480 Palestinians, over half of whom are women and children.
Salama Marouf, the head of the media office in, the government media office in the Gaza Strip, said: "The death toll as the result of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip since October 7 is 9,480, including 3,900 children and 2,509 women,".
"The Israeli raids led to the destruction of 55 mosques, three universities, three churches, and five buildings belonging to the Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs in Gaza" Marouf added.
In the latest massacre, Israeli warplanes attacked the Maghazi refugee camp in central Gaza earlier today, resulting in the killing of 33 people, and injuring dozens. This attack followed the Israeli intense bombardment on a UNRWA facility, Al-Fakhoura School in Jabalia, killing at least 15, most of whom were children, and injuring around 70.
Commenting on Maghazi refugee camp targeting, Ashraf Al-Qidra, the spokesman for the Health Ministry, said that stated that neighbors were helping first responders in their hunt for bodies or potential survivors among the debris.
Israel's military has asked Palestinians in Gaza to seek shelter in the evacuation zone, which includes the camp, but later on heavily bombarded what was supposed to be a safe place for those who fled their homes.
On another hand, Israeli Heritage Minister Amichai Eliyahu was rebuked by Netanyahu after he supported the idea of dropping an "atomic bomb" on Gaza, with complete disregard for the lives of the Israeli hostages taken by Hamas.
Hamas operation against Israel
Hamas military group announced on Oct. 7 a military operation called "Al-Aqsa Flood" against Israel which is the biggest offensive in decades.
Palestinian fighters “infiltrated” Israel from the Gaza Strip captured military bases and took hostages as photos and videos went viral online showing Hamas fighters on vehicles inside Israel and others paragliding into occupation territory.
In response, Israeli armed forces announced targeting Hamas positions inside the Gaza Strip. Thousands were killed, and dozens of thousands of others were injured in the Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip.
