Four Palestinian activists were killed early Monday in an Israeli airstrike on central Gaza, Palestinian doctors said. The four were standing on a street in the Shajaiyeh neighborhood of Gaza City when a missile hit them, witnesses said.
An Israeli military spokesman said that troops operating in the area shot and killed three armed Palestinians in an exchange of fire. Occupation troops had been operating in Shejaiyeh since Saturday.
On Sunday afternoon, Israeli jeeps surrounded the house of Hamas parliament member Mahmoud Musleh in Ramallah, and soldiers entered and took him away, Musleh's daughter and Palestinian security officials said. The Israeli army confirmed the arrest.
