The Palestinian Authority security forces on Monday night said they prevented gunmen from firing anti-tank missiles at Israeli military  vehicles on the "Karni-Netzarim" road in the central Gaza Strip. PA officers also said they uncovered a cache of anti-tank rockets along the route.

Meanwhile, some 250 Palestinians from the Gaza Strip village of Dahaniyeh were moved into Israel as part of the Israeli withdrawal plan. They moved Monday into a predominantly Bedouin area outside the southern Israeli town of Arad.

Dahaniyeh is known as the "Collaborators village". Its residents worked with Israel against Palestinian resistance fighters. Therefore, representatives from the village appealed to Israeli courts for the right to be moved into Israel.
