Israeli aircraft on Tuesday carried out several raids on targets in Gaza Strip, wounding three Palestinians, according to Palestinian medical sources. East of Gaza, three members of the Ezz Al-Qassam Brigades - the armed wing of Hamas - were wounded by the Israeli raids, the sources said, according to KUNA.

A steel workshop in northeastern Gaza was also targeted by Israeli warplanes. The workshop was destroyed and damage was reported also to nearby buildings. Another steel workshop in southeastern Gaza was also bombed.

Earlier, Israeli warplanes carried out a raid on the bordering region between Gaza Strup and Egypt. The raid targeted tunnels located in the area.

Israel said the raids came in response to the firing of rockets from Gaza Strip to southern Israel.
