Gaza's misery continues: 17 buildings collapse due to storms

ALBAWABA - Gaza's Civil Defense spokesman, Mahmoud Bassal, said that more than 17 residential buildings in the strip have completely collapsed due to storms.

Bassal added that more than 90 buildings have suffered serious partial collapses since the start of the storms.

In a statement posted on the Civil Defense's Telegram channel, Bassal said that approximately 90% of shelters in the Gaza Strip were completely flooded due to the torrential rains and flooding. 

He added that all tents housing displaced people across the Strip were damaged or submerged, leaving thousands of families without temporary shelter, in addition to the loss of clothing, bedding, and blankets.
