Senior security officers from Gulf Arab states are expected to meet in Kuwait on Sunday to discuss the situation in the region, according to a newspaper report.
The high-level members of the secret services of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states are due to focus on the consequences of a war on Iraq, Al-Riyadh daily reported in its Saturday edition, quoting informed Kuwaiti security sources.
In addition, they will also exchange views on "developments and consequences" witnessed by the GCC states recently, a reference to attacks against American targets and anti-war protests.
The meeting aims "at coordinating positions at this critical period," the daily added. (Albawaba.com)
