Germany to acquire Israel's Arrow 3 hypersonic missile system

ALBAWABA - Germany reached a deal with Israel on Thursday to purchase its Arrow 3 hypersonic missile system.

German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius announced the deal during a press conference alongside his Israeli counterpart Yoav Gallant.

The missile system deal is considered the largest in the history of Israel and its defense industry.

The German minister stressed that this was a "historic day" for both countries. He continued that the Israeli Arrow 3 missile system would make "German air defence ready for the future".

The deal between Israel and Germany worth about $3.5 billion and it is is the biggest ever deal for Israel's military industry, AFP reported.
