Cairo Hosts First Regional Conference on Cyber Crime
Under the auspices of Parliament Speaker, H.E. Dr. Ahmed Fathy Sorour, the first regional conference on cyber crime will occur on November 26-27, 2007 in Cairo, Egypt.
The regional conference will examine cyber crime in six different sessions over two days. Chairmen, moderators and participating speakers come from a broad range of international and professional backgrounds in criminal & judiciary law, telecommunications, information technology and smart card technology.

Specific subjects such as the role of public-private partnership and international cooperation to combat cyber crime, the need for a national legal framework to cover cyber crime, and the practical implementation of enforcing legislation will be explored.
