Grief hits journalist Wael Al-Dahdouh as mother passes away

ALBAWABA - In a somber turn of events, Palestinian media sources confirmed the unfortunate demise of the mother of journalist Wael Al-Dahdouh on this Sunday evening.

Wael Al-Dahdouh, a native Palestinian journalist who found his roots and education in Gaza City, spent the significant chapters of his life within its vibrant confines. Notably, he endured a challenging seven-year incarceration within Israeli occupation prisons.

Commencing his professional journey as a correspondent for the esteemed Palestinian publication, Al-Quds, Al-Dahdouh later lent his expertise to various other media platforms.

This unfortunate incident comes on the heels of a tragic event on October 25, where members of Wael al-Dahduh's family, including his wife, son, and daughter, lost their lives in an Israeli shelling targeting their residence. The al-Dahduh family had sought refuge in their home in the Nuseirat camp in the central Gaza Strip, resulting in the devastating loss of 13 lives, including nine innocent children.
