group 1 software showcases customer communications management solutions at telecoms world middle east

Group 1 Software, a Pitney Bowes company (NYSE:PBI), will be showcasing their  Customer Communications Management solutions at the Telecoms World Middle East exhibition, taking place on 18-21 November at the Jumeirah Beach Hotel, Dubai.

Customer Communications Management (CCM) is a set of activities that includes everything from billing to direct mail marketing, e-marketing, electronic bill presentment and payment to customer call centre operations.  In order to achieve total communications intelligence, these activities must be integrated with the business processes they connect with, no matter how disparate they may seem.

CCM solutions span from database to delivery, enabling the improvement of profitability, the increase of effectiveness and the strengthening of customer relationships.

In order to help telecoms operators in the Middle East create more relevant, compelling and efficient customer communications, Group 1 Software will be launching the new Content Author and e-Messaging solutions at the show.

Content Author allows organisations to embed personalised, intelligent, eye-catching content in standard documents such as bills, statements and customer service letters.  The result is the user-friendly creation and management of customer-focused messages for such things as promoting offers or updating terms and conditions, without impacting the underlying document design.

The e-Messaging Solution can help organisations create and manage automated and personalised email and SMS marketing campaigns centrally.  It enables companies to: archive all emails and SMS communications; manage communication bounces and provide graphical reporting of messages sent, delivery failures, responses; streamline response handling of customer service email/SMS communications.

Andrew Greenyer, VP International Marketing at Pitney Bowes Group 1 Software comments, “If done well, Customer Communications Management will help telecoms organisations to streamline their communications and produce dynamic messages via mail, web, email and SMS.

“In a recently deregulated telecoms market (Bahrain, Jordan, UAE, Qatar), it is vital that telecoms providers are doing their utmost to send the right message to the right customer at the right time.  Both the Content Author and e-Messaging solutions are key components to delivering personalised customer communications across multiple channels – essential to successful customer retention.”
