Oman's Foreign Affairs Minister Yusuf bin Alawi told reporters this week that the Gulf rift between Qatar and its neighboring states has now ended, according to Al Arabiya News.
Arabic daily Al Hayat quoted Alawi as saying “What happened between brothers has ended. [The relationship now between the Gulf neighbors is] all clear."
According to the Oman FM, the rift has been resolved internally in order to prevent "anyone to intervene."
Tensions between the Gulf countries were made public after Saudi Arabia, UAE and Bahrain withdrew their ambassadors from Doha in March this year, saying that Qatar was meddling in other states' affairs particularly vis-a-vis its support of the Muslim Brotherhood.
