Hafid Fassi Fihri’s first novel “A season of storm” was published by Eddiff Publishing House. Fihri is a famous columnist in the “Opinion” newspaper and this is his first literary attempt. Le Matin reports that Fihri presented his book on March 15 in the “Kalila wa Dimna” bookshop in Rabat, which was marked by the participation of the renowned academician and literary critic Abdelouahed Jabiri.
“This novel, which looks more like a long poem written in prose form, tells the story of a young protagonist who starts a journey in Rabat and finishes in Ouarzazate,” said Jabiri, stressing that Fihri's book forces the reader to read between the lines.
On his part, Fihri noted that he wrote his novel “A season of storm” in 1989 and the background of the novel is Moroccan society of that time with all its problems and defects.
