Military Communiqué
With all pride the Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement, Hamas, bears the glad tidings about its Mujahid hero the martyr:
Zafer Mohammed Kameel
From the steadfast town of Qabatya
He was martyred following a heroic armed clash with the Zionist occupation forces in the afternoon of Friday 15th Muharram 1423H - 29/3/2002AD. Our Mujahid drew a wonderful image of heroism and sacrifice during that clash that took place at the ring road near the town of Zababde to avenge for our Mujahid people in Ramallah and in all areas of Palestine.
We in the Qassam Brigades underline that our martyr hero had frequently engaged the Zionists at the ring roads and stood fast in face of occupation jailers’ investigations and torture dungeons in which he was repeatedly detained. His solid determination and belief were never shaken due to his upbringing in the Houses of Allah where he also used to tutor his town’s children in mosques.
Our Mujahid people: the Qassam Brigades while bidding farewell to one of its lions vow before Allah and blood of the martyr Zafer along with all martyrs to remain along the path of Jihad, resistance and martyrdom and to avenge for their blood from the usurping occupiers. The Qassam Brigades and our Palestinian people, who gave birth to the commandos heroes of Qassam revenge such as Abdul Baset Odeh, hero of the Netanya operation, Ahmed Abdul Jawwad, hero of the so-called Alon Moreh settlement operation and Saleh Kameel and Ahmed Ateeq heroes of the storming operation of the Tayaseer Zionist army camp, are capable of breeding more such commandos and similar reprisals are imminent.
And it is a Jihad until either victory or martyrdom
