Hamas vowed Monday to rearm in after the Gaza war. "Do whatever you want. Manufacturing the holy weapons is our mission and we know how to acquire weapons," Abu Ubaida, a spokesman for Hamas' armed wing, told a news conference.
Addressing journalists, he said "all options would be open" if Israel failed to pull its troops out of the Gaza Strip within a week. Abu Ubaida calimed that the military wing of Hamas lost 48 fighters during the war. He added that according to Hamas' account some 80 Israeli soldiers were killed during the war. Israel says it lost 10 soldiers in the fighting.
