ALBAWABA - The Russian Ministry of Defense stated on Tuesday that a Ukrainian plant that produced and maintained gas turbine engines for the Ukrainian Air Force had been attacked by Russian troops.

The ministry said that in addition to damaging the neighboring energy infrastructure vital to the facility's operations, the attack also targeted the plant, which is essential to Ukraine's military aviation capabilities.

The Russian Ministry of Defense's daily bulletin went on to say that many additional targets, including two industrial workshops, a drone assembly station, and military airport infrastructure, were also struck. According to reports, Russian soldiers concentrated their strikes on 149 locations that served as hubs for Ukrainian military hardware and manpower.

The ministry announced a noteworthy development when it said that 2,030 Ukrainian military members had been killed or injured in battle over the previous 24 hours. The fighting is at its most severe right now as Russian soldiers advance on many fronts.

Russian forces are said to have gained crucial ground in the Donetsk area of eastern Ukraine, pushing their way into Ukrainian defensive lines and successfully fending off several counterattacks. Similar moves were seen in Zaporizhzhia, Kharkiv, and Luhansk, where Ukrainian troops suffered significant casualties at the hands of Russian forces.

Along with many missiles fired from Ukraine, Russian air defenses also managed to intercept American-made HIMARS and HARM missiles. The Ukrainian military's aerial capabilities were further diminished when it was announced that 63 drones from that country had been shot down in different locations.

The Russian Ministry of Defense asserts that as the fighting heats up, their troops are making tactical gains and seriously harming Ukrainian military soldiers and facilities in strategic battlegrounds.
