The Bahrain National Museum is making final preparations for the 9th Heritage Festival (Bahraini Popular Food), to be held on Wednesday, said Bahrain Tribune.
The Assistant Undersecretary for Culture and National Heritage, Abdullah Yateem, was quoted by the paper as saying that the event was among a series of heritage festivals organized by the National Council for Culture, Arts and Literature to revive a number of national heritage features that constitute part of the distinctive Bahraini identity.
The festival this year will focus on the traditional Bahraini food, utensils, ornaments and ways of storing food in the past. This festival will also feature a wedding night at a village, said the report – Albawaba.com
