ALBAWABA- Hezbollah has confirmed a series of missile strikes targeting Israeli settlements and military gatherings along the border. The group announced that it bombed the Nahariya settlement with a large missile barrage, as well as conducting strikes on a gathering of Israeli soldiers on the outskirts of Houla in southern Lebanon.
In a statement, Hezbollah reported multiple attacks, including strikes on the Misgav Am settlement and the Margaliot settlement, where they targeted concentrations of Israeli soldiers.
Additional missile strikes were carried out against Israeli forces near the Marj site, as well as between the towns of Adaisseh and Rab Thalatheen.
Hezbollah claimed responsibility for targeting Israeli soldiers in the vicinity of the Ruwaysat al-Alam site in the occupied Kfar Shuba hills, and on the outskirts of the town of Ramya.
In response to the escalating hostilities, Israeli Home Front authorities reported sirens sounding in Kiryat Shmona and surrounding areas, as well as in southern Golan and the Lower Galilee region.
The situation escalated further when an Israeli raid took place in the southern Tyre district, targeting the towns of Al-Qalila, Al-Hawsh, Hanawi, and Ein Baal.
Notably, a missile attack coincided with U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken's visit to Israel, prompting him to seek shelter when sirens sounded in Tel Aviv.
U.S. administration officials confirmed that the missile strike, attributed to Hezbollah, occurred during Blinken's stay, highlighting the ongoing tensions in the region.
