ALBAWABA- In an unprecedented move, Hezbollah announced it has struck the Israeli Ministry of Defense headquarters and General Staff in Tel Aviv for the second time today, using Qader-2 ballistic missiles.
Earlier, Hezbollah claimed a landmark escalation, stating that it launched specialized suicide drones targeting the Kirya base—the headquarters of Israel’s Ministry of Defense and General Staff in Tel Aviv.
This is the first time Hezbollah has struck this critical facility with such drones.
Hezbollah further reported missile strikes on key Israeli military installations, including a logistics base for Israel's 146th Division east of Nahariya and the Ramim Battalion headquarters in Hunin barracks.
Concurrently, the Israeli army intercepted two drones en route from Lebanon to Haifa Bay, while additional missiles were launched from southern Lebanon toward the Galilee region.
In the Upper Galilee, sirens sounded around Safed, alerting residents to incoming rocket fire. Rocket salvos continued to target the Galilee Finger and Upper Galilee, intensifying cross-border hostilities in the region.
Earlier, an Israeli special forces unit reportedly fell into a well-planned ambush in Lebanon’s Liberation Triangle, with Israeli media reporting at least nine fatalities among the troops, describing the incident as a significant loss.
