ALBAWABA - Hisbollah conducted missile assaults on Friday against Israeli sites in northern Haifa, Acre, and the Golan Heights. The Israeli military said that it intercepted a drone fired from Lebanon into the Western Galilee and mobilized a reserve unit to reinforce the Lebanese front.

Hezbollah's missile fire triggered alarms in many Golan communities, according to Israel's Home Front Command. In various releases on Friday, Hezbollah claimed artillery assaults on Israeli soldiers near Kafr Kila in southern Lebanon. The gang fired rockets at Israeli forces near Aita al-Shaab and again during a casualty evacuation.

Hezbollah also claimed firing a massive barrage of rockets against Zofolon, north of Haifa, and the Yoav military camp in the occupied Syrian Golan Heights. Israel was seen intercepting missiles intended for northern Haifa Bay and Acre's industrial zone.

Israeli military intercepted two drones over Israeli seas overnight and this morning heading from Lebanon to the Western Galilee. The military also reported 15 Lebanon rockets fired against Haifa Bay earlier in the day. In Lebanon battles on Thursday, Israel lost two officers, three troops, and eight badly wounded.

Israeli airstrikes resumed on southern and eastern Lebanon communities. Two Israeli airstrikes hit Tayyibeh and Shamshtar in eastern Bekaa, according to Al Jazeera's reporter. The Israeli army said it had destroyed hundreds of weapons stores, tunnel entrances, and Hezbollah infrastructure in southern Lebanon during its ground operations.

The Israeli forces found a Hezbollah subterranean conduit in a fighting zone. Airstrikes hit a Hezbollah command center that launched several missiles against Israel.

An extra reserve brigade has been summoned up by the Israeli army to strengthen the Lebanon frontlines and let northern civilians return home. Israeli media stated that three wounded troops were transferred overnight to Ziv Medical Center after the conflict.

Over the previous 24 hours, Israeli military statistics reported scores of troops injured, predominantly in southern Lebanon. These were 47 severely wounded, 191 moderately damaged, and 40 minorly injured troops.

Since Hezbollah began supporting Gaza from Lebanon on October 8, 2023, 78 Israeli troops and civilians have died in the fighting. Since Israel's attack on Gaza began, the Israeli military and Hezbollah have exchanged fire in southern Lebanon. An Israeli ground operation against Hezbollah sites in southern Lebanon began on October 1, 2024.
