Hindi comedy theatre production takes the stage on July 19
Kavve Chale Hans Ki Chaal a Dubai Summer Surprises 2008 Mega Event
Kavve Chale Hans Ki Chaal, a hilarious Hindi comedy production, will treat Indian theatre lovers in Dubai when the cast takes the stage at 7:30pm on July 19 at Centrepoint Theatre, DUCTAC, Mall of the Emirates. The event is one of the Mega Events during DSS 2008 and organized by the theatre group Abimanch.
The cast for the show, comprising of 12 actors, are Dubai-based residents and the production is written and directed by Suhail Iqbal who has been involved in theatre for over 14 years.
Kavve Chale Hans Ki Chaal is about a typical Indian middle-class joint family in a posh locality and the efforts family members take to change their lifestyle upon the arrival of a popular actress in their neighbourhood. The three-hour show takes audiences through the ironies of portraying an upper-class lifestyle through very comical scenes and dialogues dispersed with satire.
