Dubai, October 24, 2007 – His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, UAE Minister of Finance and Industry, visited the Dubai Naturalization and Residency Department (DNRD) dedicated pavilion at the Dubai International Dentistry Forum, following the opening of the event which kicks off today at the Dubai International Conferences and Exhibitions Centre. Brigadier Mohammed Ahmed Al Marri, Director, Dubai Naturalization and Residency Department, informed His Highness about the various services and facilities that the DNRD is providing to the delegates through its exclusive pavilion at the Forum, and as an official sponsor of the event taking place on October 24-27 with over 20,000 visitors expected from around the world.

Brigadier Mohammed Ahmed Al Marri, Director, Dubai Naturalization and Residency Department, said that the Department is providing exclusive services and facilities to the delegates through its various departments and facilities and the exclusive pavilion on the grounds of the event. The Department, he added, is always keen on supporting any events or activities aiming at promoting the Emirate's acclaimed status, as one of the world's most advanced cities. Dubai is renowned for its rapidly developing economy, trade and tourism, and took substantial strides in developing therapeutic tourism and international level medical institutions and facilities.

Mr. Omar Bin Mezeenah, member of the Forum's organizing committee, in charge of the activities of the Department at the Forum, said that the Department, acting upon the instructions of Brigadier Mohammed Ahmed Al Marri, is supporting the organizing committee through special services and technical support. Furthermore, the Department established a special team in charge of welcoming the delegates at the Arrivals hall in Dubai's International Airport, and printed the Forum's logo on all the entry permits that will be issued throughout the event.

On the other hand, the Department's pavilion at the Forum will promote its services, such as the "e-gate" card and the virtual management "e-form". The pavilion's attendants will also explain the Department's strategy and vision, in addition to its outbound stations and the services they provide. The pavilion, Bin Mezeenah added, will further provide visitors of the Forum's participating companies and all other participants with entry permits.

The pavilion will also distribute dedicated publications bearing a message by the Department's Director to the Forum's visitors, explaining all the facilities and formalities concerning visiting Dubai and residing in the Emirate. This comes within the framework of the Department's efforts to attract visitors to Dubai, mainly from the medical profession and institutions. The Department's publications to be distributed during the Forum will also provide the contact numbers of all its branches and offices.
