HSBC Bank Middle East Limited has been named ‘Best Overall Bank for Cash Management (Middle East)’, ‘Best Bank for Payments & Collections (Middle East)’, and ‘Best CLS-Linked Bank Offering (Middle East)’ by Global Finance Magazine.
Global Finance editors — with input from industry analysts, corporate executives and technology experts — selected the best providers of treasury and cash-management services. Factors considered included: profitability, market share and reach, customer service, competitive pricing, product innovation and the extent to which treasury and cash management banks have successfully differentiated themselves from their competitors around core treasury and cash management service provision.
This is the third award that HSBC has received in 2006 for its cash management business in the Middle East. In early-2006, HSBC won the Euromoney 2006 Cash Management Award (“Best Cash Management Bank in the Middle East”) and in September it was voted “Best in Cash Management” in the Middle East and globally in the Euromoney 2006 Customer Poll, with a wide margin from the second bank.
Christopher Lewis Regional Head, Transaction Banking, HSBC Bank Middle East Limited said: “These awards indicate the level of commitment that HSBC has dedicated to this core business area. As customers become increasingly sophisticated in the Middle East, we expect to continue to deliver more advanced and tailor-made solutions via HSBCnet, the Group’s world class e-banking channel.”
