HTTV deploys interactive TV services in the Middle East

ETISALAT has chosen Selevision and HTTV to supply a set of interactive TV Services for its E-Vision cable TV network, including an EPG and an innovative Audience measurement system.
HTTV, a leading solution provider for interactive digital TV and Selevision, a leading EMEA broadcast and IPTV system integrator, have been selected by Etisalat to deploy a set of advanced interactive services on  E-Vision, the cable TV arm of Etisalat and the leading cable TV provider in the region: EPG (electronic program guide), messaging service and an innovative digital audience measurement solution. HTTV will also be providing several data casting solutions “Primestream” to broadcast the applications on the network.
Based on OpenTV middleware technology, the services provided by HTTV will allow the E-Vision subscribers to accesses program information and services from their set top Box with their remote control.
