A Palestinian was killed by IDF forces in clashes in the village of Qatanna, northwest of Jerusalem in the West Bank on Thursday morning, according to Palestinian media. Palestinian sources said that Yahiye Yusri Tahe, 21, was shot in the head.
The IDF confirmed that it was operating in the village overnight.
The victim was the one hundredth Palestian killed in the current wave of violence that has hit Israel and the West Bank.
The army arrested five wanted Palestinians in the village overnight and uncovered weapons. Binoculars, military uniforms and other IDF equipment were also seized.
