Injazat Institute graduates IT Infrastructure Library-Certified Service Managers
Injazat achieves 70 per cent  pass rate to surpass 45 per cent global average
The Injazat Institute (TI²), a professional development initiative by Injazat Data Systems, announced that it has successfully graduated the first batch of students who attended the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) - Certified Service Managers Program. At the end of a very intensive two months of blended learning, Injazat was able to achieve a 70 per cent pass rate to fully certify its students at ITIL Service Managers v2 level.  This success rate far exceeds the global average, which currently stands at between 41 to 45 per cent.
The current training of the second batch of ITIL students shows a clear commitment from Injazat to have staff qualified at the Service Manager level to help implement their ITIL Roadmap and eventually gain ISO 20000 accreditation.
In addition, Injazat has embarked on ITIL Foundation training for its staff and has delivered it to over 100 students in the last three months, achieving a 70 per cent success rate in the examinations.   “Our recent batch of ITIL graduates reflects the success of Injazat’s initiatives to enhance the IT capabilities of its personnel, as well as our efforts to promote ITIL in the region,” said Dr. Asfour, Director of Ti2.
In January 2008, Injazat Data Systems started working in partnership with Quality Assurance to provide the full ITIL Service Managers Program to its Service and Client Delivery Managers.  The candidates spent two months taking a combination of instructor-led courses and workshops covering the 10 ITIL processes in detail from a management perspective. Following two exams in ITIL Service Support and ITIL Service Delivery, Injazat produced a group of fully-qualified ITIL Service Managers, 30 per cent of whom are UAE Nationals, who were awarded certificates by Ibrahim Mohamed Lari, CEO, and George Pawlyszyn, COO, of Injazat Data Systems, one of the Middle East's leading Information Technology Managed Services and Business Process Managed Services companies.

The Injazat ITIL Roadmap will implement ITIL-based ‘best practices’ for the effective management of IT Infrastructure Services to Injazat clients. This program, led by Peter Hutton, Head of ITO Services, will establish globally recognised service processes that enable Injazat to demonstrate value to clients through greater IT efficiency; reduce business risks via rapidly recoverable IT services; reduce long-term costs using process improvement; and manage a higher rate of successful IT changes.

“Injazat embraces the best practices and recommendations within the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) and has a goal to deliver services in the context of the ITIL framework.  With increasing industry acceptance and client demand for adherence to ITIL guidelines, Injazat commits to continue to develop a common capability to support this market direction while enhancing our client service excellence,” concluded Hutton.
