An international conference called “Multiple Sartre” organized by the Tunisian Society of Philosophical Studies will is being held March 22 until March 24 in Hammamet for the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the famous philosopher Jean-Paul Sartre’s birthday.
<i>La Presse</i> reports that academicians and thinkers from different universities will participate in the event and the conference will mainly address topics such as Sartre in our time, Sartre and phenomenology, controversies: Sartre/Merleau-Ponty/Foucault, Sartre and the praxis: ethics and policy, Sartrian esthetics: theatre, literature and philosophy, and the philosopher and the intellectual.
