Iran's Foreign Ministry spokesman Hamid Reza Asefi on Sunday urged regional and Islamic states to adopt a serious preventive measure to stop the Israeli regime's "crimes."
"We believe the Lebanese nation has the right to defend its rights while being exposed to Israeli threats," Asefi said in his weekly press briefing, according to IRNA. "Israel intends to exert more pressure on the Lebanese people by misusing current situation in Lebanon and tries to impose its own policies," he added.
