Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesman Hamid-Reza Asefi said in Tehran Wednesday that his country has persistently urged the Swiss government to provide the world with all documents and evidence relating to the explosion in Argentina so as to make the “behind-the-scene events clear”, the official Iran News Agency reported.
The Swiss government had recently asked Argentina to provide further information so that it could complete its investigation on whether Tehran had deposited funds in the Swiss banking accounts for former Argentine president Carlos Menem.
Asefi added that Tehran is determined to receive information. According to the agency, Iran is confident that the plot to explode Jewish centers in Argentine had been designed by the Zionist regime, Asefi stressed.
He added that in continuation to the “dirty game”, Israel is trying to deviate world public opinion, including the survivors of the crime, and to prevent legal and judicial investigation of the events. A Jewish building in Buenos Aires collapsed as a result of an explosion in 1994. (Albawaba.com)
