Iran is demanding Washington extradite Iranian opposition guerrillas from Iraq, fearing the United States might try to use them to put pressure on Tehran, a newspaper said on Sunday.
On Saturday, the U.S. military said forces of the People's Mujahideen (MKO) group, or the Mujahideen-e Khalq in Farsi, had agreed to yield to U.S. forces in Iraq. "If America extradites them to us, it will fulfil its responsibility, if not, America will have to send them to another country," the Siyaset-e Rouz daily quoted Intelligence Minister Ali Yunesi as saying.
