Iran’s Foreign Minister Kamal Kharrazi on Thursday strongly denied accusations directed against Iran over Iraq, stressing they were "baseless."
Kharrazi warned in a statement to journalist after meeting Syria's Foreign Minister Farouq al-Shara against plots aimed at creating an interior war in Iraq, noting Iran’s "keenness on Iraq’s security and stability."
He underlined Iran’s eagerness to Iraq’s unity and the stable security there with not allowing Iraq’s partition. According to him, the participation of all sectors and spectrums of the Iraqi people in the Iraqi elections is needed.
