Iranian Foreign Minister Kamal Kharazi is expected to ‏

‏arrive in Kuwait on Monday on an official visit to discuss bilateral ‏relations, as well as regional and international issues including Iran's ‏nuclear portfolio.‏

During his weekly press briefing held Sunday, Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Hamid ‏Reza Asefi said that Kharazi is to meet with Kuwaiti officials to discuss ‏

‏methods of strengthening bilateral relations and to exchange views on Iran's ‏cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency.‏

Asefi said that Kuwait can play an effective role within the IAEA and other ‏international bodies, saying that Tehran naturally welcomes any attempt to ‏defend its legal right to use nuclear energy for peaceful purposes.‏ (Albawaba.com)
