Iran: No deadline for EU talks

Iran's Foreign Ministry spokesman Hamid Reza Asefi said Sunday Tehran set no deadline for Europe's reply to its proposals. "The crossword puzzle of negotiations (between Iran and the European Union) is filling. The Europe should pay attention that we are at a decision-making stage (according to Paris Accord) and will resume enrichment one day with or without an agreement.

"It will be to the two sides' interest such an issue would end to an agreement," Asefi said, according to IRNA.

Asked about news of former Russian energy minister's arrest in Switzerland and its link with Iran's nuclear case, he said, "Iran had quite transparent nuclear cooperation with Russia within the framework of international regulations.

"Iran has not violated terms of Non-Proliferation Treaty in nuclear activities." "Iran insists on its rights enshrined by NPT and our nation will never overlook their rights," Asefi noted.
