Iranian president, Mohammad Khatami, arrived in Paris late Monday at the head of a high-ranking delegation and was welcomed by France's senior presidential advisor.
Mohammad Khatami is expected to give a lecture in UNESCO's Conference on Dialogue Among Civilizations on Tuesday, <i>IRNA reported</i>.
The Algerian president and some 300 political and cultural figures will also attend the conference to discuss the achievements of the 5-year plan of Dialogue Among Civilizations presented by President Khatami in 1999.
President Khatami is further expected to meet French President Jacques Chirac.
