Presidential hopeful Mir-Hossein Moussavi on Friday said he is ready for nuclear talks with the P 5+1 group but "will not compromise" on Iran's nuclear right. According to Press TV, Moussavi, who leads in the latest polls, said if elected president on June 12 he would be ready for negotiations with the five permanent members of the UN Security Council plus Germany but rejected any compromise on the issue, Press TV correspondent reported.

"Iran will never compromise on its right to develop nuclear technology."  "We have the technical aspect of the nuclear issue, which is Iran's development of nuclear energy for electricity needs and about which Iran is not prepared to give any concessions."
