Believers have better blood because they steer clear of sexual ties and drugs, a spokesman for Iran's blood transfusion service was quoted as saying Monday.
"People who believe in religious and cultural values have purer blood than others," Dr. Babak Yektaparast said, adding that "the others are tempted by sexual relations and drugs and have less pure blood", according to Qods newspaper.
"In this light, we try to choose blood donors who are believers and respect cultural values," he explained. (Albawaba.com)
