A car bomb exploded Friday near a Baghdad police station, killing four people and injuring two others, police said.

Meanwhile, supporters of Iraq's most wanted man, Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, have posted a video on the Internet of their killing of a candidate in Iraq's elections from the party of interim Prime Minister Iyad Allawi.

The group announced on a website that it had executed Salem Jaafar al-Kanani, "secretary of the traitor Iyad Allawi".

In the video, Mr Kanani makes a confession and calls for Iraqis not to collaborate with the US occupier. "I ask them to serve their nation and their people ... Personally, I am ready to work in the service of Iraq and the Iraqi people," Kanani said.

According to AFP, Kanani was kidnapped a central Baghdad street on January 19.
